How Palantir is Tracking Your Every Move Without You Knowing

Could privacy be a thing of the past?

You ever heard of the company Palantir Technologies? Chances are, you haven't. Want to know a fact about them? They're worth more than 400 billion US Dollars. More than the McDonald's Corporation. More than the GDP of Kuwait. And yet, you've never heard of them.

For context, according to their Wikipedia page, "Palantir Technologies Inc. is an American publicly traded company that develops data integration and analytics platforms enabling government agencies, militaries, and corporations to combine and analyze data from multiple sources. ..."

This means that they have the capability to access to all the data they need to track you. We can see proof of this theory in their "AI-powered system" made for the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), called immigrationOS, which uses AI models to analyze a person's trends (e.g. going to a certain place frequently) to determine if they are an illegal immigrant. Now, it doesn't matter if you support ICE's actions agaisnt people or not. What's important is they aren't just spying on just the suspicious person, but they are spying on EVERYONE, undocumented or not, to try to find more evidence of a suspect being undocumented.

Another product of theirs concerning the government is Palantir Gotham, which is Palantir's official "defense and intelligence tool", which when used for predictive policing (which is a horrible concept, and never should be applied due to how insecure and inaccurate it is), flagged communities with a large person-of-color population as HIGH RISK! It's also been used by the Los Angeles Police Department to profile anti-ICE and BLM protests. Do I need to reiterate on how HORRIFIC this company is?!

And now we get to the honestly hard part of this that I must write. Palantir doesn't just develop mass surviellance platforms for the United States. They also TRACK PALESTINIANS FOR ISRAEL. You heard me correctly, they use the same tech used to profile illegal immigrants to track Palestinian activity, but 10x that and let them use DRONES to do it. Do you know just how much they support Israel? Well, here's a full page ad they paid to put in the New York Times:

Full page newspaper Palantir ad, saying "Palantir stands with Israel."

In conclusion, Palantir is a horrible company and we MUST do something about it. We, the people, cannot sit and defend this. If you defend this, you are purposefully ignorant.
